In 2012, he developed into an elite college left tackle, using his athleticism and strength to keep defenders away from Johnny Football (when the young quarterback wasn't running toward them and leaving them speechless and missing their footwear). Joeckel has entered the conversation as a potential top pick, and deservedly so.
