Frederick spent his junior season at center, but I believe he'll be better suited to return to guard in the pros. He's a very big man at 338 pounds, and he can move around a bit. Frederick has enough foot speed and agility to pull to the outside and lead block when needed. I think he can improve his technique a bit in pass protection by getting lower and not allowing defenders to stand him up, where he's vulnerable to defenders using their hands to gain separation and get around him. Overall, a potential early pick at guard if he leaves school early.

kudi - 10-10-2011, 02:18 AMTravis Frederick is the real deal. He comes from a program that turns out some of the best offensive lineman in the nation and was the first freshman in Badger history to start on the offensive line, a feat not even Joe Thomas achieved. Though he is only a sophomore and the 2014 draft is nearly out of sight, time will prove that Frederick has what it takes to play professionally and potentially be taken in the first round. -
