Jones is an explosive pass rushing linebacker with great speed. At 6'2, 241 pounds, he's in the Von Miller physical mold, but has some durability concerns thanks to spinal stenosis. Over the past season for the Bulldogs, he's racked up an impressive 28 sacks. On the field, Jones has a great first step and can be in the backfield very quickly. He does a nice job of staying with the play and getting sacks based on effort and coverage down the field. Overall, a nice player who needs to get bigger and stronger to repeat his efforts at the next level.

Jones put up some gaudy numbers this past season at Georgia, where he played OLB in a 3-4 scheme. I think Jones lacks the speed to be an elite pass rusher at the next level, and i dont think hes strong enough to be a power rusher. While he made his share of plays i dont think he is aggressive enough to be considered elite in any way. Not even to mention he had a spinal injury at USC, which USC team doctors would not clear him to play. Which is why he tranfered to USC. Risky pick not only in talent, but injury as well. Needs to go to the right system.
