Tyler Wilson had an okay senior season, but was unable to elevate the play of the team around him in difficult circumstances. He's mechanically sound, usually makes good reads (threw too many picks in '12), and has a decent arm, but he did not take the next step forward in 2012 that he should have. With the quarterback class trending toward okay at the top, Wilson could climb into the top ten with a solid offseason, starting with the Senior Bowl.

Peter Smith - 11-26-2011, 09:52 PMI have not seen a ton of his play this year, but when he came on the field in relief for Mallett last year, he was just as good and maybe better than Mallett at times. I am a little surprised that there has not been more talk about Wilson considering up until this weekend, Arkansas had worked its way up to #3 and without their best offensive player, Knile Davis. He does benefit from having one of the best and fastest receiving cores in the nation as well as playing in Petrino's system, so perhaps that is why he is seemingly overlooked. -
Chris Raiden - 11-26-2011, 11:52 PMThat about covers it. He needs another year to really establish himself, and most teams do not like drafting guys in the first round with only one year's starting experience, which is all he has right now.
