Peter Smith - 07-09-2011, 06:44 PMWhen I watch Donte Paige-Moss, I see a player that needs to continue developing. He will be a junior this year and thus far, he is a good athlete with a nice burst that has technique but needs to keep working. He is another guy that does not have any real signature move. He is inclined to work to the outside and see if he is able to use his hands to get free. The guy he reminds me of is Jabaal Sheard and I imagine Paige-Moss looks a lot like Sheard did as a sophomore. They are roughly the same size and both play with a nice motor, but Sheard looks far more polished (understandably) and developed an effective spin move. I am curious to see how much better Paige-Moss plays as a junior, but to this point, I see a guy who needs to stay in college and continue learning the game and improving his technique, but we'll see if he can change my mind as the year goes on. He is a guy that does a few things pretty well, but nothing that really stands out yet, but he certainly has the potential to become substantially better. I also think he is someone who has the athleticism to move to outside linebacker in the 3-4 at the next level.
