Kalil is a potential franchise left tackle in the NFL. He plays with good balance and footwork most of the time. Kalik has some minor technical flaws that can be corrected, such as consistency in staying low (hard for a 6'6 tackle occasionally) and letting smaller defenders get into his pads, and could stand to put on some weight and lower body strength, but overall, is a very solid tackle with great potential and great size.

l.a. no-teamers - 01-11-2012, 03:23 AMMatt was up and down his sophomore year, but this past year, he was absolutely dominant. He was getting upfield consistently on run plays and bubble screens. Teams couldn't even get put pressure on the QB from that side, let along sacks. I will say he was credited with giving up zero sacks this past year, but he kind of gave up one. He wasn't beat though, he just didn't read a delayed blitz and decided to block no one while the LB got a free shot at Barkley. I think it was the UCLA game .. -
