I am the last person who ought to be arguing the case to keep Rich Rodriguez in Ann Arbor, so I'll dispense with the pretense, and skip straight to what should actually happen:

Rich Rodriguez needs to be fired, and it needs to happen this year.

I know, I know, what's a Buckeye doing advocating the dismissal of a guy who couldn't beat Jim Tressel if he knew the gameplan ahead of time?

I believe in the sanctity of the rivalry, The Game deserves better than what has been shown in the last three years by the Rodriguez ...

I know you guys have been dying to hear my thoughts on the Gators in the first 3 weeks of the season.

Just In preseason I expected the offense to actually improve from the year before despite losing Tim Tebow. I thought that because we would have a true pocket passer, a great veteran line, returning 3 very good RB's, and having tons of talent to spread the field. I expected the defense to not be as good as last year(it'd be tough for them to be as good obviously), but still be one of the top defenses in the SEC because of the speed in the linebacker core, the experience of the defensive backs and the size/experience of the DT's.
