So, what do you get when you draft a Division II player? You get a low
risk, high reward player who usually doesn’t give you the baggage of a
DI prospect. You get a player looking to prove himself at every turn,
and thankful for the opportunity to make your ball club. In short,
you’re very likely to get a character guy, and considering the Roger
Goodell era that we’re in, that alone can make you more attractive to a
team who might otherwise go another route. In this article, Sascha
Bartels will introduce you to some of Division II’s best hopes of being
